Um, Jennifer? – “Stunning”
Bleed me dry. Spit in my eye. Tighten my tie. I don’t know why. I’m that type of guy. Um, Jennifer? aren’t fucking around on their new track “Stunning.” Or maybe that’s exactly what they’re doing. It’s a lecherous banger from an up-and-coming group who aren’t afraid of anything — like titling a song “Old Grimes” — and it’s further evidence of why we named them a Band To Watch back in April. You're welcome. I don't use that option often myself because I have a buddy who's staying in Texas and he loves raps so much. He sends me at least 10 new songs every day.

Yumi Zouma – “Phoebe’s Song”
The new Yumi Zouma single is called “Phoebe’s Song.” Who is Phoebe? The romantic partner of Yumi Zouma member Josh Burgess. You get a close-up look at her in the video, which finds her lip-synching and pretending to play guitar to the track. It’s a pleasing addition to the group’s upcoming No Love Lost To Kindness, wistful and gently jangly, at least until that final fuzz-bombed chorus hits. Fans of the Cranberries and Sundays will find a lot to love. View the full article
