Do you like listening to worship songs?
I'm not a deity or an atheist, so I do enjoy listening to worship songs. Sundays are my favourite when it comes to streaming worship songs because it's the sabbath day.

-
What do you think of Ozzy as a music icon?
I'll put in almost the same category as Pink Floyd because he's that good. I enjoy listening to so many of his songs. My personal favourite of his would be Mr. Crowley (1980). It's a dark and dramatic song powered by one of the greatest guitar solos in metal history.
-
Does music help you cope with stress?
Rap and Hip hop are my favourite genre to listen to most of the time. Recently, I'm listening to the new album of Meek Mill, Tee Grizzley, NF and Lil Baby.
-
What do you like doing during your free time?
I envy those who can sleep whenever they want as long as they are free to sleep. I have never slept in the afternoon like take a nap. My body isn't built for that. It's only in the night I can sleep.
-
Which rock band is your all-time favourite?
Numb is my favourite Linkin Park song.
-
Do you still listen to full albums, or just playlists now?
Do you know the like option on Spotify? If so, on any song you're playing, click on it and it's going ask you to create a playlist or just add it on your liked songs.
-
Have you ever called into a radio show or been part of a live broadcast?
If I ever worked in a radio station, I would create a programme where anyone can call to seek out reconnecting with their old friends whom they are no longer in contact with and also another programme to ask for forgiveness from those one wronged but no longer have access to meet them face to face to say sorry.
-
Do Lyrics Still Matter?
No, not at all. There's no way a fan can upload the lyrics of a song on Spotify. They can't have access to the backend of streaming app to do it.
-
What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever listened to the radio?
I can always make out time and sit under the sky in night to enjoy listening to my favourite radio stations. As long as the environment is conducive, I can stay out until 11pm to 12am enjoying my time outside.
-
What songs motivate you to do better in life?
The only problem I have with Bruna Boy is that he's a self centered human being. He doesn't like helping other young upcoming artists to grow.

Major Labels Strike Landmark Deal To License Catalogs For AI Music Startup
It doesn't matter if nobody actually wants AI music; the major labels are still going to push it on us. Reuters reports that Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group, the three currently extant major-label umbrella groups, have all negotiated a licensing deal with an AI music streaming startup called Klay. That means that Klay is the first AI music streaming service to come to deals with all three major labels, and the company now can now train its model on tens of thousands of recordings. UK To Ban Resale Of Concert Tickets Above Face Value
This news excites me! A lot of music fans have been exploited by scrappers who are always looking for ways to make cheap gains which doesn't even make sense to me.
-
IDLES & Sleaford Mods Blokes Make Up
I am glad that they've decided to bury the hatchet. I don't know if I am the only one who doesn't enjoy these musicians having serious beef as it ruins certain collaborations which would have made them create awesome songs for the people.
-
Have you ever called into a radio show or been part of a live broadcast?
During my University days, I was a consistent caller on one of the school's FM radio stations. They play songs most nights and calling in to request the songs that I want played was one of the things that I enjoyed doing back in those days.

Spotify Announces Updated Song Credits Feature
Spotify has to do much more if they are looking at gaining the trust of these artists. The artists wants to be rewarded for their efforts and if Spotify is not offering that, I think these guys will have to try tjr alternatives around.
-
Do Lyrics Still Matter?
Thank you for the explanation. This is the reason I don't get it when you said uploading online because I was thinking fans have the permissions to attach lyrics to songs these artists have uploaded on platforms such as Spotify.
-
What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever listened to the radio?
I remembered those days like it was yesterday. Days where I stay outside our compound listening to radio with everywhere being calm. I've missed those years and won't mind experiencing them soon.
-
What songs motivate you to do better in life?
Yeah, I agree with you that Burna Boy is quite talented and the great guy amongst the three.

My Bloody Valentine Play Surprise First Show In Seven Years
It's been nearly a year since My Bloody Valentine announced their first show since 2018, a gig at Dublin's 3arena this coming Saturday that also marks their first headlining show in Ireland since 1992. They've since added more live dates in the UK for later this month, plus a performance at Clockenflap next month (their first ever Hong Kong concert), a February run through Japan, and an appearance at Primavera Sound in Barcelona in June. But before all that, the shoegaze superheroes made a surprise return to the stage tonight. The post My Bloody Valentine Play Surprise First Show In Seven Years appeared first on Stereogum. IDLES & Sleaford Mods Blokes Make Up
In 2019, Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods initiated beef with fellow UK rockers IDLES by saying "they were appropriating, to a certain degree, a working class voice." Joe Talbot responded shortly after, wondering, "What the fuck is wrong with the guy?" Now, the bands have made amends. The post IDLES & Sleaford Mods Blokes Make Up appeared first on Stereogum. Spotify Announces Updated Song Credits Feature
It has not been the most flattering PR year for Spotify. Since last spring, popular bands like Deerhoof, Massive Attack, Sylvan Esso, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Hotline TNT, and countless more have removed their music from the platform, with many of those artists calling out Spotify CEO Daniel Ek's investment in the AI military company Helsing. Then, Spotify doubled down on the ICE recruitment advertisements they began running on its free ad-supported tier, prompting even more artists to flee in protest. A lot of Spotify subscribers are fleeing, too, and Apple Music even launched a feature to make the transition easier for ex-Spotify listeners seeking an alternative. Now, Spotify has announced some competitive updates, including more in-depth song credits. The post Spotify Announces Updated Song Credits Feature appeared first on Stereogum. View the full article

This House Is Creaking – “Something Else”
This House Is Creaking is the brainchild of Chicago-based musicians Micah Miller and Ehmed Nauman. Their music sounds like it would chug a Celsius before a 3 a.m. A. G. Cook set while wearing a ratted sweater three-times too big for it with smeared eye-liner. That is to say that This House Is Creaking lives… The post This House Is Creaking – “Something Else” appeared first on Stereogum. View the full article
