  2. Outkast were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last night. André 3000 and Big Boi’s fellow Atlantan Donald Glover honored the hip-hop duo in an induction speech highlighting their contributions to Southern hip-hop — and reminding us all that Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is now the highest-selling rap album of all time — before a star-studded tribute performance. Janelle Monáe did “Hey Ya!,” Tyler, The Creator rapped the shit out of “Bombs Over Baghdad,” and Doja Cat sang “Ms. Jackson.” Then the whole group got onstage with Big Boi, JID, and Killer Mike for “The Way You Move” along with Sleepy Brown, who features on the original track. 3. Indigo De Souza released her new latest album Precipice back in July, and some drama ensued shortly thereafter. Stereogum contributor Grace Robins-Somerville reviewed it for Pitchfork and gave it a 6.6, which is by no means a terrible score in Pitchfork terms, but apparently not the glowing co-sign De Souza was hoping for: After the review was published, the North Carolina musician quickly took to social media denouncing Pitchfork as a legion of “internet bullies,” simultaneously asking her fans to comment on the site’s social media accounts to tell them the Precipice review was “whack.” A couple of days later she posted on Instagram that she was “having a really hard time” before going offline for a few weeks. 6. Have you ever called into a radio show or been part of a live broadcast? I've always wondered what that's like because it seems both exciting and terrifying at the same time. What happened when you called in and was it as fun or nerve-wracking as you expected? Did you freeze up or nail it? I'd love to hear your on-air story if you've got one to share!
  7. Do you have a favorite DJ or radio personality who always cracks you up? I love when DJs have that perfect mix of humor and realness you know.. Some of them are just naturally funny and make even boring topics interesting. What makes your favorite so entertaining - is it their voice, their sense of humor or maybe how they roast callers in a playful way? Who's your go-to radio personality?
  8. What's the most memorable live broadcast moment you've ever experienced or heard about? Was it something hilarious that went totally wrong on air, like a technical glitch or someone saying the wrong thing? Or maybe it was an unexpected guest who called in out of nowhere? Sometimes the best moments are just those spontaneous things that make everyone laugh. What's your favorite radio or broadcast memory?
  9. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life but it randomly changed temperature every bite from freezing cold to burning hot, what would you pick? I think I'd go with pizza because it's honestly good at any temperature. Cold pizza? Great. Hot pizza? Amazing. It could handle the temperature swings pretty well. What food would you choose that you wouldn't get sick of?
  10. Okay that's a funny one.. Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses? Think about it.. a giant duck would be terrifying with that massive beak and those huge wings flapping at you. But then again a hundred tiny horses stampeding around could be total chaos. Which one do you think you'd actually have a chance against? What's your strategy for winning either fight?
  11. If animals could talk I think cats would definitely be the rudest. They already act like they own the place and barely acknowledge us unless they want food. Can you imagine them actually speaking? They'd probably just insult our life choices all day and criticize everything we do. What do you think though? Would cats be the rudest or do you have another animal in mind?
  12. That's hilarious.. it's actually impressive how they can talk forever without pausing. They must have some serious lung capacity and breath control training. It's definitely a skill most of us don't have. I'd probably pass out trying..
  13. That's actually a really interesting combination.. Rema's energy with Billie's moody atmospheric style could create something totally unique. It would definitely be experimental but sometimes those unexpected collaborations turn out to be the best ones.
  14. It depends on my mood honestly. Sometimes I enjoy the DJ banter especially if they're funny or share interesting stuff about the songs. But other times I just want non-stop music without interruptions.. Like when I'm working out or really focused on something.
  15. You know what I don't have a specific song stuck in my head right now but I hate when that happens..because You hear one catchy chorus and suddenly it's on repeat in your brain for days.
  16. I'm currently watching one old school American series called ''Family'' ! It's been really interesting going back and watching these older shows.
  17. Jim Carrey hosted Saturday Night Live back in 1996 on an episode that featured Soundgarden as the musical guest. Four years later, the comedian would star in How The Grinch Stole Christmas with child actor Taylor Momsen as Cindy Lou Who; outside of acting, Momsen grew up to front the band the Pretty Reckless, who toured with Soundgarden on what would end up being Chris Cornell’s final tour. All these webs interconnected again last night at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony, during which Carrey and Momsen reunited for the first time since their Grinch days to induct the grunge legends. 18. I like Mind Your Language and Mr. Bean.. Both are absolutely timeless classics.
  19. Guardians of the Galaxy has such an incredible soundtrack..But you can't beat The Lion King for nostalgic value..
  20. I love going to the cinema.. There's something special about watching a movie on that huge screen with amazing sound that you just can't replicate at home. The whole experiencelike getting popcorn, settling into your seat, the previews.. it's all part of it. Though I'll admit, ticket prices are getting pretty crazy these days..
  21. You are right. People forget that artists are human too and the constant pressure to stay relevant can be exhausting. Taking a break for mental health is never a sign of weakness it's actually smart. Your creativity suffers when you're burnt out anyway. Peace of mind should always come first period.
  22. I think Afrobeats fans probably own the dancefloor more in terms of pure dancing energy. Rock shows have amazing energy too but it's different more headbanging and moshing.
  23. I've heard theories that certain frequencies or sounds might affect energy or create atmospheres where people are more sensitive to paranormal stuff. Like maybe it's not that music causes paranormal activity but it could influence our perception or openness to experiencing it? I'm not totally sure though.
  24. I'm currently listening https://youtu.be/I1NQ3tMpbwM?si=rQUMOAN_aCZM2rYj
  25. That's such a hard question because there are so many incredible artists out there.. from 80's to 90's etc I don't know if I could pick just one favorite of all time.
