  2. I play worship songs mostly on weekends and that's all. I don't think it is going to work much better for me on those days since I have different plans when it comes to enjoying and listening to cool songs. I don't have a favourite worship song at the moment as I prefer going with the flow.
  3. This looks like a fantastic idea that one should try out. Hosting shows that bring local musicians on board is a way that you get to promote local talents and a lot of fans will appreciate that.
  4. While it is difficult to make a pick, this masterpiece (Drunk in Love) by Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z tops the list for me.
  5. I've listened to some of the songs Rema did and must confess that he is one of the best that Afrobeats genre has right now.
  6. That's right. Another way that I get to learn about new songs is by searching for the top 100 songs in my country. That way, I get to play the top 100songs that a lot of users are playing at that particular moment.
  7. It is possible too because there are people who likes to just keep the radio at home or just listen to it while they drive instead of when they have gone fishing or at the parks.
  8. This song Michael Learns to Rock - Sleeping Child was the one that I enjoyed while growing.
  9. So, when you are training, you would prefer the Dj to keep talking in between the times the songs are playing, right?

  11. Max B’s 2006 debut mixtape Million Dollar Baby made him an underground rap star, but he didn’t get to fully reap those benefits for very long: In 2009, the Harlem MC was sentenced to 75 years in prison for a slew of charges including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, and aggravated assault, all stemming from a botched robbery at which Max B was not present. In 2016, Max’s conviction was vacated, and that sentence was reduced to 20 years. Last December, he called into a taping of The Joe Budden Podcast to tell the hosts that his sentence would end even sooner, having been given a release date of November 9, 2025. That’s today! 14. The late Warren Zevon was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last night. Before the legendary singer-songwriter died of terminal lung cancer in 2003, he was a frequent guest on his friend David Letterman’s talk shows, and his final public appearance was a 2002 episode of The Late Show. Fittingly, Letterman gave a heartfelt and funny induction speech honoring Zevon, and explained how all of Zevon’s songs can be organized into three categories: “Global And Personal Strife,” “Love Songs,” and “Songs About Werewolves.” View the full article

  16. Sombr, for bettr or for worse, was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night in an episode hosted by fellow first-timer Nikki Glaser. The pop softboi (dang it!) performed his viral hits “12 To 12” and “Back To Friends,” donning a very glam suit set for each. Fun fact: At 20 years old, Sombr is the first SNL musical guest born after the show’s longest-tenured cast member, Kenan Thompson, joined in 2003. View the full article
  17. The girls had fun during Cyndi Lauper’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Chappell Roan, who once auditioned for a talent show with Lauper’s “True Colors” as a teenager, gave a speech honoring the pop icon, and did a pretty good job despite admittedly having some difficulty reading the teleprompter. 20. Outkast were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last night. André 3000 and Big Boi’s fellow Atlantan Donald Glover honored the hip-hop duo in an induction speech highlighting their contributions to Southern hip-hop — and reminding us all that Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is now the highest-selling rap album of all time — before a star-studded tribute performance. Janelle Monáe did “Hey Ya!,” Tyler, The Creator rapped the shit out of “Bombs Over Baghdad,” and Doja Cat sang “Ms. Jackson.” Then the whole group got onstage with Big Boi, JID, and Killer Mike for “The Way You Move” along with Sleepy Brown, who features on the original track. 22. Indigo De Souza released her new latest album Precipice back in July, and some drama ensued shortly thereafter. Stereogum contributor Grace Robins-Somerville reviewed it for Pitchfork and gave it a 6.6, which is by no means a terrible score in Pitchfork terms, but apparently not the glowing co-sign De Souza was hoping for: After the review was published, the North Carolina musician quickly took to social media denouncing Pitchfork as a legion of “internet bullies,” simultaneously asking her fans to comment on the site’s social media accounts to tell them the Precipice review was “whack.” A couple of days later she posted on Instagram that she was “having a really hard time” before going offline for a few weeks. 24. Have you ever called into a radio show or been part of a live broadcast? I've always wondered what that's like because it seems both exciting and terrifying at the same time. What happened when you called in and was it as fun or nerve-wracking as you expected? Did you freeze up or nail it? I'd love to hear your on-air story if you've got one to share!
