Robber Robber – “Talkback”
Last year, Robber Robber self-released the compelling debut album Wild Guess, which earned them a spot on our Best New Artists list. Now, the Burlington post-punks are signing to Fire Talk and sharing a great new track called “Talkback.” “Talkback” is a zippy tune with energetic guitars and an entrancing bassline. Gen Z Black Flag Break Their Silence
The massively important hardcore institution Black Flag has been through many, many incarnations over the years, and its strangest might be the one happening right now. The only constant member of Black Flag over the band's entire existence is guitarist and founder Greg Ginn, a man who has seemingly alienated everyone who ever knew him. Earlier this year, the 71-year-old Ginn unveiled an entirely new version of Black Flag, in which all the other members are in their early twenties. He's older than all of his bandmates combined. It's weird. The post Gen Z Black Flag Break Their Silence appeared first on Stereogum. View the full article

Thee Headcoatees Return With Man-Trap, Their First Album In 26 Years
Underground UK garage rock impressario Billy Childish put Thee Headcoatees together back in 1991, long before the term “UK garage” took on a completely different meaning. The project was a sort of DIY-punk approximation of the old svengali girl-group model. Childish conceived Thee Headcoatees to be an all-woman complement to his own band Thee Headcoats,… The post Thee Headcoatees Return With Man-Trap, Their First Album In 26 Years appeared first on Stereogum. thistle. – “tied”
thistle., a young trio from the UK, makes grungy emo with murky, fuzzy production and a headlong sense of melody. Watch Blood Orange Cover Coldplay’s “Don’t Panic” In The BBC Live Lounge
You ever think about how we live in a beautiful world yes we do yes we do? Bones sinkin' like stones, all that we fought for? Homes, places we've grown, all of us are done for? No? You don't? Well, I know I'm not alone. Coldplay thought about that stuff, too. It's what they sang about on "Don't Panic," one of the less-remembered singles from their honestly very good 2000 debut album Parachutes. And Blood Orange must think about it, too, since Dev Hynes and his band just covered "Don't Panic" in a visit to the BBC Live Lounge. Watch Snocaps Give Their First-Ever Performance On Fallon
Just a few weeks ago, twin sisters and past bandmates Katie and Allison Crutchfield unveiled Snocaps, their new band with MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook, and they surprise-released their deeply satisfying self-titled album. Snocaps have a very limited number of live shows coming up, and then Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman will head out on a bigger co-headlining tour next year. But Snocaps' first-ever live performance wasn't in front of the people who fought to get tickets to those few live shows. Instead, it was a one-song set on Tuesday night's episode of The Tonight Show. The post Watch Snocaps Give Their First-Ever Performance On Fallon appeared first on Stereogum. What songs motivate you to do better in life?
It depends on what you are basing their popularity on it because if it's based on influence, I'll go with Davido because of his family's connection but when I talk about talent, I believe that Burna Boy is way ahead of him.
