Do you still listen to full albums, or just playlists now?

Streaming changed everything. I used to buy CDs and listen straight through — now I skip around like a squirrel with ADHD. Do you still sit down and enjoy a full album start to finish?

Honestly, it's not all the artists I listen to while streaming on Spotify that I still sit down and enjoy their full album from start to finish without skipping. The whole songs in the album would be 99% hot to make me not skip a track.

When legends make an album, I can't resist listening to all the songs on the album. It is just the way that I get to appreciate them for the effort they put into creating those songs. There are also some less popular artists that I've listened to their songs. The key thing is that I get to have fun while at it.

Yes, I've listened to a full album without skipping a track but that's just once. The moment I've listened to the album once, when I'm playing it again, I'll definitely skip some tracks that I don't like so much.

The difference between a playlist and full album is that the tracks on playlists are carefully selected which are majorly the best tracks of the artist. Playlists have more playing time than most albums.

Personally, I also skip songs on playlists too even though they are all selected songs better than a full album composition. If I've listened the playlist for a while, my taste in those songs will reduce which makes me skip them. It's why I keep making new playlists from time to time.

There are very good points in what you're saying which can't be argued because they are cold facts. Playlists are the best of the best songs of an artist which might be made of different songs from more than one album.

I've been using Spotify to stream music for more than 7 years. Over that period of time, I've made more than 20 different playlists with at least 200 songs each. They are songs for different purposes.

I make playlists like that too because I know 100% there are different songs for different purposes.

Which album are you currently listening to?

Tee Grizzley is one of my favourite rappers now. I'm currently listening to this his album "Still My Moment" on Spotify. After that, I'm going listen to MASA by YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

These days I mostly listen to playlists because they’re convenient and I can mix all my favorite songs.
