CD's peak era was during the 1980's to 2000's. It's very rare to see anyone who's into rock music that's not well into its CDs collection. My uncle had hundreds of them and that's part of why I fell in love with classic rock then.

Today, I no longer collect the CD's because streaming have made it so much easier to listen to whatever I want whenever I feel like.

Do you still collect rock music CDs?

I no longer collect any kind music CDs because using streaming services have made having access to any kind of songs easier. Although, I still have my old collections in my possession.

Most of my CDs collection are no longer in good condition to play even if I still have access to a CD player. My DVD player stopped being functional 2 years ago, so I've completely moved on from playing anything on CDs.

No I don’t collect rock music CDs anymore. Everything’s digital now so I usually just stream my favorite songs online.

I rarely collect it as well nowadays. My focus is always on enjoying some good songs on YouTube Music or Spotify instead of spending money to collect CDS out there.

It's not like you're going to be able to resell the CDs whenever you want because most people have moved on from them. They no longer making cars that you can play such CDs for you to say let me keep collecting for that reason.

Unless one is collecting those cds for collection purposes, I don't see any need for me to keep doing so nowadays as it makes no sense if one plans to resell it.

The thing is that a lot of people collect things for different reasons. Someone persons might just be interested in collecting CDs for the purpose of memory keeping and not for profit making in any way.

Just like those who collect game discs, I think you are right about the talk that they pick these music CDs just for keeping purposes and not for anything else.

I don't have any CD player again. 😂 Those days of buying CDs from those boys in my area has passed. I used to collect Linkin Park and Bon Jovi albums back then. Those albums are gold. Very interesting! Now everything is all about streaming.

Some old technology no longer hold so much worth value in money because they have been phased out. It's the situation with CDs and DVDs now. Many listeners have moved on from them.

I will suggest that you keep those CDs that you've collected in good condition. This is because a time is going to come when a lot of things will change and those collections will be in high demand.

It's only my DVDs that are still in a good shape. I still have some old movies and TV shows on DVDs which I can still watch. Unfortunately, they are no longer producing new ones, I'll have to burn to the DVDs myself if I want to watch on it.
