For someone like me who's been a music lover for more than 30 years, it's going to be very difficult having just one music artist as my favourite of all time. But if I'm forced with a gun on my head to choose one, it's going to be Lil Wanye. His days with Cash Money Records still feels like it was yesterday to me.

Who is your favorite music artist of all time?

Burna Boy, hands down. That guy does not just sing, he does perform like he is possessed by rhythm. From Ye to City Boys, he’s been consistent. I love how he mixes culture and pride in every track.

My favourite musical artist is undoubtedly Gwen Stefani. If you enjoy listening to punk and pop rock, there's no way you wouldn't love what she have done. Her song Hollaback Girl and 30 million records was impressive.

To be very honest, I don't really like so many Nigerian artists but just a few of them. Burna Boy is definitely a good one. His Album "Twice as Tall" remains my favourite till date.

For me, it’s Fela Kuti. I haven't seen any one like him. He’s a tough artist and an activist at the same time. That man uses his music to fight bad governance, educate people, and still make you dance. To me, that’s extremely powerful. Even the new generation still borrows from his vibe.

Fela Kuti is a very popular man. He was hated by the government so much because of how he frequently attack their bad policies and corruption. I love so many of his songs. What do you think about his son's music?

I wasn't actively listening to his music when he was alive. It was after his death that I was struck and I began to follow all his song's track record. Nigerian government have gotten worse than the way it was when he was criticising them.
