This makes me laugh hard anytime I remember. During one radio segment when I was presenting a project in my youth service corps, I thought my mic was off. I leaned over and said, “ Does my voice sound weird?” not knowing the whole thing goes live 😭. The producer just looked at me with pity. Since then, I double-check the mic light before I talk. Once bitten, twice shy.

Oh I feel your pain lol. I have had so many encounters where I have had a live Mic and have went on a rant to the show producer about something or cussed and it all went live lol... But like you, I make sure my Mic light is off now every time haha
