Posted October 28Oct 28 Tame Impalaâs new album Deadbeat doesnât seem to be anyoneâs favorite Tame Impala record, but that hasnât stopped the band from filling arenas or from scoring their first-ever Hot 100 hit. On Monday night, Kevin Parker kicked off his American arena tour by headlining Brooklynâs Barclays Center â the first gig in a four-night stand at that venue. (âWhat tour?â he joked. âThe world tour.â) The show was Tame Impalaâs first full-on public performance in a couple of years, and they played 10 of the 12 songs from Deadbeat.
