Navy Blue Announces New Album The Sword & The Soaring: Hear “Orchards”

Sage Elsesser is one of those people whose resume makes him almost annoyingly cool. He’s a pro skateboarder, multidisciplinary artist, and occasional model from Los Angeles, and he raps and produces under the name Navy Blue. He’s part of the same lo-fi and casually heady underground rap universe as people like MIKE and Pink Siifu, and he’s collaborated with Earl Sweatshirt a bunch of times. Last year, Navy Blue’s LP Memoirs In Armour landed in our Album Of The Week column. Next month, Navy Blue will follow that one with a new record called The Sword & The Soaring.
